starting from version 2.0 we include Revolution Slider in Tripod's installation. Here are the steps you should take, to properly add the slider to the theme:
1. Install the plugin, and activate it. Just UNZIP the full_theme.zip archive, downloaded from ThemeForest, and find the plugin. Upload the plugin in your PLUGINS section and activate it http://i.imgur.com/iY94g1w.png
2. Open it's settings, and create a slideshow. For more details on how to properly create slides, effects and so on, please check the plugin's documentation. The main steps are to enter a Title (e.g. "My super slide") and an alias(e.g. "my-super-slide". No spaces). Then add the images, effects, and so on. At the end, you should have this shortcode created http://i.imgur.com/1tzDxHY.png . Just copy it.
3. Now just paste that shortcode somewhere, like into a post/page content. you can as well paste it in a Template row. Let's say you want it on front page. Open front page's template and add a row for it http://i.imgur.com/6fNzi5T.png then paste the shortcode into the TEXT/SHORTCODE element http://i.imgur.com/rjWSBWP.png . The best thing while adding the slide to a template row, is that you can make the row full width http://i.imgur.com/CnI2Fj4.png then http://i.imgur.com/d4UEtkP.png
4. Enjoy the result http://i.imgur.com/ePJAiNW.jpg
PS: if you want to upload the demo settings, first upload the settings/demo content for the theme, then open your new-created slide's settings http://i.imgur.com/nRMcazB.png and upload the settings file http://i.imgur.com/31xGZpv.png .
You can find the demo file attached to this post.
