Because WordPress has a gap while browsing via custom posts, and next/previous Custom Posts in the same category was not working because WP's core custom_get_adjacent_post() function does not care about the custom categories, I wrote a custom function, that asks for an additional parameter, so that you could use on custom categories too. Example - if you want the next/previous buttons from Galleries to loop only the current category, you should:
1. Add this function to /tripod/functions.php file: http://pastebin.com/9dpcH860 . In case pastebin expired, see this link http://jsfiddle.net/awj8v/ (top left square).
2. You can call the function that way:
$prev_post_link = custom_get_adjacent_post( $in_same_cat = false, $excluded_categories = '', $previous = true, $categorytax = 'category' ) .
1. try to open /tripod/single-gallery-content.php file, and
2. search for $ppost = get_previous_post(); and $npost = get_next_post(); . You'll find these rows in 2 copies. Replace them like:
$ppost = custom_get_adjacent_post( true, '', true, 'gallery-category' );
$npost = custom_get_adjacent_post( true, '', false, 'gallery-category' );
I attached the function.php file and the single-gallery-content.php file from Tripod v.2.0 and all the above functions that should work.
Cheers and do not forget to rate us!
